Volunteer / MNDA

Volunteers across the country know every day matters, committing their time and dedication to make a difference for people affected by MND.  From heading up events to raise funds and awareness, to shared companionship at support groups, and offering trusted advice and information about the Association's help - volunteers are determined to make every day count.

There are lots of ways to get involved.  Whether you have 1 hour a week, 1 hours a month, or 1 hour a year, there is a volunteering opportunity for you to create impact for people with MND.

RIght now MNDA are currently recruitng volunteers for the following roles:

  • Group Leader (Committee Role) - A remote role with occasional travel to meetings or events, flexible to needs and capacity of the individual.
  • Support Meeting Co-ordinator - Can be remote/hybrid with occassional travel to support events, but this role specifically is more around the behind the scenes co-ordination, communication and organisation.
  • Group Finance Officer (Committee Role) - Occasional travel to meetings, flexible and agile to individuals travel capacity needs.
