Support Volunteer / Dementia NI

Dementia NI empowers people with dementia throughout Northern Ireland to live as well as possible after a diagnosis, with the help of life changing peer support services.  The Dementia NI Empowerment Groups enable people with dementia to have a voice, raise awareness about what it is like to live with the symptoms of dementia, remain active and be part of their community.  Through training and education, our members tell others what it is like to live with dementia and help influence and inform how people can still live well with dementia, as well as challenge the stigma attached to a diagnosis.

If you would like to become a Group Support Volunteer, assisting with meet and greet, engaging with members and supporting facilitators please register your interest today.  Group meeting will take place in St Columb's Park House.

Dementia NI are also recruiting volunteer drivers to bring members to/from the group sessions.  For more information click the bow below.
